What is BeReal?

BeReal is a French social app that allows users to take a photo of themselves and post it within 2 minutes of receiving a notification from the application, which arrives irregularly once a day. RealPeople (celebrities) and RealBrands (brands) users are also required to post in response to “occasional notifications,” as in the past, so they can get a behind-the-scenes look at celebrities’ lives and brand activities without editing or scripting. When general users tag official accounts, the official accounts can also see the posts of general users, thereby activating fan interaction and communication. BeReal is easy to get started with the following steps

Download the application

Download the BeReal application from the app store.

Register an account

After installing the app, register an account. Enter your name, date of birth, and phone number.

Enter the verification code

You will receive a verification code on your cell phone. Enter this code into the app to verify your account.

Select a username

Select the username you would like to use for your BeReal account.

Allow access to your contacts

You will be asked if you want to allow access to your contacts.

Wait for Notification

BeReal will send you a notification at a random time each day.

Take a photo

Once you receive the notification, take a picture within 2 minutes.

Post the photo

After taking a photo, you can post it to your feed.

Select who can see your post

You can choose who can see your post from “Friends Only,” “Friends of Friends,” and “Global”.

BeReal is designed to capture real, unedited moments, so you cannot use filters or edit your photos.
